For pharmaceutical representatives
AlHayat Medical Center engages with pharmaceutical companies and their representatives through a structured, MOH-compliant process. We value the clinical and scientific information that well-prepared representatives bring to our medical teams, and we ensure every interaction is consistent with Kuwait Ministry of Health regulations on pharmaceutical promotion.
How representative visits work
- All meetings must be scheduled in advance — unscheduled visits to clinical areas are not permitted
- Meetings are arranged with the relevant department head or clinical lead
- Visits take place outside of patient consultation hours wherever possible
- All promotional materials must comply with Kuwait MOH pharmaceutical advertising regulations
- Product samples are accepted only through the pharmacy department and only for MOH-approved products
- Representatives must sign in at reception and be accompanied to meetings by a staff member
Introducing a new product
- Submit an inquiry through the For Professionals contact form below

- Provide prescribing information, clinical data, and relevant comparator evidence
- Our pharmacy and clinical leadership review product proposals on a regular cycle
- Approved products are added to the formulary through the standard procurement process

Compliance and conduct
